Founder, ZALOMI Group | Entrepreneur | Education & Technology Leader

Noushad Rahman is a UAE-based entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in technology sales, international distribution, business development, and venture building. Originally from Kottakkal, Kerala, his work connects affordable technology, practical education, and career opportunities.

His entrepreneurial journey began in 2002 when he co-founded SCIT Academy—Silicon Computers and Information Technology—in Kottakkal with four friends. The academy continues today under the name Max Update, reflecting the lasting foundation of his first venture.

Later that year, Noushad moved to Dubai and joined First International Computers, beginning as a computer technician before moving into sales. Between 2003 and 2015, he worked with regional IT distribution companies, handling leading brands including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, and Logitech across territories covering 17 countries. In December 2009, he established Tropical Computer in Sharjah, a business that continues to operate.

As founder of ZALOMI Group, Noushad has developed ventures spanning technology trading, refurbished devices, retail, technical services, and education. Through Zalomi Academy, he focuses on practical skills, entrepreneurship, and stronger connections between learning and industry.

His latest initiative, Cogniva Edu Lab, brings together career counselling, psychometric assessments, study abroad consulting, and school Career Labs through digital platforms and online and in-person programs. It reflects his commitment to helping learners understand their strengths and make informed decisions about their future.

Noushad’s long-term ambition is to build scalable businesses that expand access to technology and education while creating meaningful opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
